Turano Baking Company is a Chicago staple and a company with a passion for Sustainability. This is our second site in which we have installed a solar PV system for Turano, following their warehouse building in Berwyn, IL. A great deal of coordination and determination was required by the client, the village, the utility, and the Windfree team in order to bring this project to fruition.
Carports are becoming more and more popular as medium and large companies look to achieve their sustainability goals. Oftentimes, companies have parking lots but not a lot of roof space or nearby ground on their property. Carports allow companies to produce solar energy on-site, without disrupting operations or reducing usable square footage.
