Jesse Jackson Senior Living Center Goes Solar

This project was completed in 2024 by our in-house installation team. The Jesse Jackson Senior Living Center is a Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) facility, and we have been fortunate enough to work with them on several projects. Helping provide renewable energy to underserved communities is something that we pride ourselves on at Windfree. Our relationship with POAH has provided an excellent pathway to integrate more of these systems into communities that need them. Many of our in-house team members were born and raised in the city. For our local installers to work on projects like this one, that help low income seniors, shows the wonderful results of strong solar project incentives and job opportunities alike.

We look forward to working with POAH on at least 5 more projects in 2025, and continuing to help bring affordable renewable energy to all Illinois communities.
