The Emily Oaks Nature Center functions as an oasis for the community to learn about the environment, nature, and
sustainability. Windfree consulted with the Village and worked to help them
achieve grant funding, allowing the Park District to receive additional grant
money. The 17-kW system offsets about 50% of their annual usage. This is one of
several projects completed for the District.
